Hi, my name's Paul and I enjoy hacking on code, contributing to Open Source Software projects and helping high school science students better understand maths and physics.
I'm a physicist by trade and a software developer by choice. I contribute to Open Source Software projects where I can by submitting Pull Requests (a.k.a. PRs) to help improve code, tests, and documentation. I'm primarily active in the Perl and Raku communities and use Python and JavaScript at work, however I'm language agnostic and will submit PRs anywhere I think I can help out. I also sporadically blog about tech-related topics.
My main focus at present is a bit of a digression from my usual contributions: I'm working on after-school-help, a project to provide 'deep-dive' detailed worked examples of high school science problems.
