Hi, I'm Michael. I'm a professional software developer and a father of six. Somehow I still have time on my hands to invest in open source projects, or to mess around with electronics or other hardware. I also love learning, so I read a lot of articles and watch a lot of online videos. I like cars, I don't own anything special though.

My projects are based on stuff I need for work or personal needs. I enjoy working with serialization and deserialization, that's why I maintain a few libraries for PLC communication. I often prefer to write something myself than to buy into technology offered by a commercial giant, especially if the former helps me to resolve issues quicker in the long run.
