I'm not a developer by trade. I actually don't even work in tech, my primary job is healthcare related. Which is why I don't know any of the more useful and structured languages like python, node, etc. But a long time ago I needed a simple script to do something and starting tinkering with bash, and years later I can claim to write shoddy and perhaps slightly above average bash that occasionally does useful things.

I use a lot of open source software but only have to means to donate to a few of the developers who had freely given me (and the rest of us) their hard work that often improves our lives. So if you're not interested or not in a position to support me, I totally get it. But if you find yourself with a few extra bucks and some appreciation for some of my shitty bash that is perhaps useful to you, I'll gladly take a few bucks to buy a beer with, or pay forward to some of the real developers who offer much more useful things than I do.
