Become a sponsor to Daniel Furtado
Hi there! My name is Daniel Furtado and I'm a Brazilian software engineer based in Stockholm, Sweden.
I started my development career back in the late '90s in Bioinformatics. Working in Bioinformatics allowed me to get into the open-source culture sharing my code and working together with researchers from different universities.
Since then, I have worked in many projects with different technologies going from C, Perl, Python, JavaScript, and Go.
The project I am currently working on is called "dataclass-csv". The "dataclass-csv" is a CSV reader for Python that takes advantage of Python's dataclasses providing validation and type checking when reading CSV files.
Another project worth mentioning is the Pyterrier 🐶 , a micro web framework written in Python that I developed for educational purposes. I wanted to learn how web frameworks worked under the hood, and I thought it was a good idea to share so other developers can learn from it as well.
For the future, I have plans to start a series of Python tutorials that I will distribute for free on GitHub and possibly videos.
This sponsorship is vital to me because I will be able to focus more on my projects, investing more time in adding features, fixing bugs, and improve its documentation. It will also help to pay tools for writing and development tools.
