Spring Cloud AWS is an ambitious project aiming to simplify using AWS managed services with Spring & Spring Boot applications.

It is developed entirely by volunteers not affiliated with neither AWS nor VMWare (or Spring team). We are friends, but we do not get salary from any of these organisations.

We are working on version 3.0 of the project - complete rewrite based on AWS SDK 2.0. We have already spent hundreds of hours and will spend much more.

We are adding the most requested integrations including DynamoDB support, we've completely re-invented SQS support and would be happy to continue integrating more services - but it costs significant amount of time.

By sponsoring the project you help to make our efforts more sustainable. Funds will be used to compensate the core team members and sponsor our trips to conferences to spread the word about Spring Cloud AWS.

Maciej Walkowiak (Berlin, Germany)

Freelancer. In May 2020 took the lead of Spring Cloud AWS, fixed dozens of bugs, implemented handful of improvements, kept project alive and sparked again the community interest.

Matej Nedic (Zagreb, Croatia)

Works for IBM. Joined the project in July 2020 and has become the Secrets Manager & Parameter Store guy. In 3.0 responsible for SNS and DynamoDB integrations.

Tomaz Fernandes (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

Currently looking for opportunities. Joined project in August 2022 after submitting fabulous SQS implementation based on Spring Kafka project. Responsible for SQS integration.
