Hello! My name is Daniel and I'm a chemical engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the Petroleum Industry working as a Process Engineer. I have experience with design, modeling, simulation, evaluation, and operation of petroleum and natural gas processing/transportation facilities.

I'm also a software developer with more than 20 years of coding experience 🙂

I'm the author and maintainer of DWSIM (https://github.com/DanWBR/dwsim). DWSIM is an open-source, CAPE-OPEN compliant chemical process simulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. Built on the top of the Microsoft .NET and Mono Platforms and featuring a rich Graphical User Interface (GUI), DWSIM allows chemical engineering students and chemical engineers to better understand the behavior of their chemical systems by using rigorous thermodynamic and unit operations' models with no cost at all.

Apart from DWSIM, you can find other open-source projects in my repository, check it out: https://github.com/DanWBR/

By becoming a sponsor, you will support future development of DWSIM while having an active voice in the prioritization of new features.

The money received will go towards:

  • Supporting DWSIM development so I can work as much as possible on it and buy any hardware/software/books/papers/articles required for development and testing.
  • Web hosting and infrastructure setup.
  • Paying other project related expenses.

If you use DWSIM, a monthly contribution would mean a lot to me and let me continue pouring my hearts into this project and the community surrounding it ❤️.

~ Daniel

@DanWBR

I'll release the source code of DWSIM Core, a .NET 6 version of DWSIM core libraries that will be the basis for new/future DWSIM releases.
