I couldn't find this answer anywhere online, so I had to open an issue ticket. Can anyone tell me what SnipeIT uses as the key field in a csv import to identify whether a user already exists? I can't use ldap so I have to import users semi-regularly as they come and go, and I want to make sure that if a user's name changes (happens frequently around here), that I'm not accidentally creating duplicate accounts.
I am also curious what the key field is for asset importing. My initial guess would be the serial number but I would like confirmation/correction please.
Thank you for any/all help!!
