Please confirm you have done the following before posting your bug report:

Describe the bug
I am on version 4 of the software. This isn't necessarily a bug, but I am at a loss and don't know where else to post. I can't get to a point where a "normal user" can request an asset as show in https://snipe-it.readme.io/docs/requestable-assets. I've marked all assets and asset models as requestable. When I login as a regular user, they don't have the option to request assets. I can check them out and in as an admin. Not sure where to look. Appreciate any hints that you can provide.

Thanks,

Brad

Hello @bradrsnipeit1 does the user have the permission to see the requestables assets?

Hi @Relix360, thanks for the response. Yes, I just checked again and the user does have that permission. For the user, I go to the "Requestable Assets" page and no button. I look at the asset directly and see no button. I'm really perplexed...

Checked, they weren't assigned to a company at all but tried to assign them both to the same company and still getting the same result.

I have the same problem. While admins can see Requestable Assets items without problem, a simple user with "View Requestable Assets" permission cannot see anything on Assets Tab.

If the user has only ever requested an asset model and not an asset, they wouldn't see anything under the requested assets tab.

The problem is that the assets are not shown for user with "View Requestable Assets" permission. So the user can not request them

I found what I had to do it. I had to assign the user in the user settings, to the same company that owns the assets.
Thank you for providing the app and support.
