NOT SURE IF ITS A BUG, MORE OF A SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCE OR USE CASE THAT YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER LOOKING INTO.
Describe the bug
When checking out a license (Pro Tools) to an asset (iLok usb dongle) I expect the license to automatically follow the iLok because that's where the license is at. And it's the asset you check out, containing the license.
Now, looking at the license seat user, the user only updates with the name of the current user if you check in and check out the license, and for me that would be too cumbersome.
So as an option or as a new logic, let licenses checked out to an asset follow the asset.
To Reproduce
Check out a license to an asset.
Check out the asset to a user.
Notice the license seat user. (Should show same as above if first time checked out)
Check in the asset - then check out to another user.
Again look at the license seat user. (Still on the first user)
Check in license from asset - and check out license to the same asset again (voila, updated with current user)
Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
