Please confirm you have done the following before posting your bug report:

Describe the bug
Historic checkins of licenses on our system show when we've checked in an asset from a staff member previously it would show:

Date
Admin = Who checked it in
Action = Checkin, Check out etc
Item = The license asset name
Target = Who it was checked in from or who it was checked out to

I'm not sure when, but in the past year or so it now shows this:

Date
Admin = Who checked it in
Action = Checkin, Check out etc
Item = The license asset name
Target = The license asset name

This seems to only apply to checkins not checkouts. The trouble with this is that it's difficult to identify who the asset was checked in from. We use the notes field to record user details.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to any user or any license asset
  2. Click on checkin
  3. Go to the history screen

Expected behavior
Historically it would show the target as the person who it was checked in from. (see screenshots where old dates have people icon, new dates show license icon)

Not related, seems to be a functionality change?

Add any other context about the problem here.

We use licenses to track many things, not just software. For example, who might have administrator privileges on systems, it's worked well so far.
