Using:

  • Docker (dunno the version)
  • Snipe-IT 4.9.4
  • MySQL 5.6

I'd like to raise a couple of field/attribute gui inconsistencies compared to the back-end... and request one standard is picked going forward:

  • Web > Locations > New > Field name "ZIP-CODE" exists
  • Database > snipe.locations > Column name "ZIP" exists
  • Web > Locations > Add Columns > Column name"POSTAL-CODE" exists
  • Web > Locations > New > LOCATION-CURRENCY
  • Database > snipe.locations > Column name "CURRENCY" exists
  • Web > Locations > Add Columns > Column name "$" exists.

Couple of things re currencies...
3)
We have a dropdown of Countries, why not a dropdown of Currencies?

Maybe the 'sample import/csv files' article could include a CSV of Global Regions and Countries - save every almost person using this tool having to collate that data.
