Getting the error when running grunt-eslint for the rule "no-multi-spaces" with the option ignoreEOLComments as true

I am getting the error when running grunt-eslint for the rule "no-multi-spaces" with the option ignoreEOLComments as true.

Pls see in the screenshot for the version of grunt-eslint in local and eslint version local and global, I updated to latest version of both eslint and grunt-eslint

thanks in advance for any help, unable to find solution on googling also, seems this option is supported on latest eslint version greater than v4, I updated to latest version dont know why the issue happens
