Affected Version

SS 4.12.*

Description

When you leave the member field, the Password Field prompts for a "are you sure", basically saying: there has been a change - even if there has not been a change.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. create a new member.
  2. save
  3. navigate away.

OR

  1. open an existing member
  2. click on the back button in browser

I can’t recreate this, do you have a password manager that could be autofilling those details?

I'm getting this behaviour from the UploadField. If the field already has an image, don't touch anything, then try to leave.
silverstripe/asset-admin v1.11.2
silverstripe/framework v4.11.7

I've now run an upgrade, and the CMS is significantly faster (gjwd), but this bug remains.

I can also confirm all the password fields are prompting to save when touched but not changed.

I've opened silverstripe/silverstripe-asset-admin#1325 (comment) for the UploadField issue.

Ah, that’s the detail I was missing - I can recreate this by focusing on a password input first, then navigating away
