Error: EncConverters returned -18 (Registry Corrupt) #20

I receive the message "Error: EncConverters returned -18 (Registry Corrupt)" when I try to select a converter (after "Apply converter").

What kind of converter (ICU, TECKit, Python), and what operating system?

Make sure the converter runs correctly in FieldWorks or the Encoding Converters application. It may help to remove and add the the converter again.
