This is not urgent at all, but really a personal preference. I tend to write all my current projects in TS, so would like to convert this one to TS too.

Reasons: refactoring peace-of-mind, strict null checks, auto-completion, and the community is picking TS up too.

Edit: could refactor to react hooks too
