Hello,
I'm fairly new to MAUI, but I have used FirebaseAdmin to send test notification with a payload and successfully received in the delegates like so:
varmessage=new Message(){Data=newDictionary<string,string>(){{"value","85"},},Notification=new Notification(){Body="Apple",Title="Look at this",},Topic="AAPL",Android=new AndroidConfig(){Notification=new AndroidNotification(){ClickAction="SHINY_PUSH_NOTIFICATION_CLICK"}}};stringresponse=await FirebaseMessaging.DefaultInstance.SendAsync(message);
I am able to handle these when app is open in the background, but as I read from other posts that the delegates won't fire when the app is not even in the background (closed) hence it cannot detect the delegates.
Does that mean the drawer should not receive notifications as well when app is closed? (current scenario).
Scenario: App is closed and I send a test notification using FirebaseAdmin. Should I expect the notification in the drawer even though my "closed" app cannot handle it yet?
Thanks for this library! Much better documentation and samples than anything I could find online.
