Hello,

I'm using sfizz v1.2.1 (VST-3 format) on Arch Linux with Bitwig.

When I'm loading a new instance of sfizz everything works properly.

However, when I reload an existing instance (for example, when I open an existing project) or when I try to load a saved preset, bitwig is not able to load the plugin, with the error message:
Could not load plugin Plugin host died: Could not read async reply: End of stream

It seems to me that it is linked to bitwig as I was not able to replicate to issue with Carla. However, Bitwig only behave like that with sfizz (not other VST3 plugins)

Any idea of what is happening?

Thanks a lot

Hello,

If it helps: I'm having the exact same problem with sfizz 1.2.1 VST3 on Arch Linux with Bitwig: sfizz works fine when initially added to the project but when project is re-opened the plugin crashes with Bitwig saying the same "End of stream" error in its logs.

BUT Today I built a fresh copy of sfizz from the develop branch (i.e. commit 917d4f5) and the problem goes away with this version (1.2.2-8b4ef10b)!

Note sure exactly which change since 1.2.1 makes things work but I thought I would at least share my "it works on my machine with version 1.2.2-8b4ef10b" story.
