IOS photo width problem after uploads

When a photo uploaded from my iphone, i only can move the photo in one direction. It's mean if the photo width is more than the preview size, i can move it to the view that i want. But at the same time i cannot move the height to the view i want. And actually on android phone it's only need to move in one direction either is width or height. Because the photo width or height will auto fit in my preview container. But on iphone when i uploads the photo , the width will more than the normal photo and the width over will become white space. This make my photo always over width and only can move in horinzontal direction but the height can't be display inside container.
