What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. If Server drops the connection
2. If Server is not responding


What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

There is no auto-reconnect option if server drops the connection

What mobile phone are you using?

Google Nexus

Which Android Version and stock ROM or aftermarket like cyanogenmod?

Android 4.0.1

Please provide any additional information below.

What is a way to carry out auto reconnect option if server drops the 
connection, i guess there is no such thing we have with us as of now..Kindly 
guide us on way how to do.

Usually the server hash a keepalive option that is pushed to the client and 
will cause the client to reconnect after the timeout. 

Also note that is not android specific. It will behave in the same way as the 
regular OpenVPN client
