Breaking that down we have:

• Estimate the spatio-temporal distribution of casualty numbers for walking and cycling
• Estimate the spatio-temporal distribution of walking and cycling uptake
• Summarise results of the previous findings at the local authority level, answering the following questions: which LAs have seen greatest improvements in safety for pedestrians and cycling and which have succeeded in getting people cycling and (this is a stretch aim as there is little data) walking
• Get data on traffic calming and pro walking and cycling interventions in an analysis ready format
• Explore the relationships between interventions and safety/uptake outcomes
• Forecast how future interventions could lead to changes in safety and uptake outcomes
• Visualise the results of the project using new methods
• Create an interactive web application for exploring road safety outcomes
