I see this addon is under development for a few years now, has it not matured to the point that it can be added to the official addons?

The amcrest integration doesn't work well and this looks promising but I tend to only run official addons as to not mess up my HA server.

Because rroller no longer has time to support or further develop this addon. :-( Therefore, it will probably never become an "official" Home Assistant add-on.

I think that's a shame, but it probably corresponds to reality and if that's the case, unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it.

@rroller It would be really great if you found the time again and the development and support continued.

That sucks but such is life.

I just tried hooking up the HA core ONVIF integration to my NVR. It all seems to work. It starts a lot faster. The only thing missing is that I only get one motion binary sensor for each camera (not one for vehicle and one for human). I can work with that.
