Ojibwe vs Ojibwa #150
Comments
I'm not fully understanding if there is system to the different naming of script vs language. It seems "Ojibwe" may be used for the script, whereas the individual languages use "Ojibwa", e.g. Omniglot, Wikipedia — if this is accurate maybe the initial user report may be confused. One more general question applicable to some other scripts as well is if our calling the script "Ojibwe Syllabics" instead of plain "Ojibwe" is meaningful? On both questions I'd refer to a linguist or someone with more intimate knowledge of the scripts. |
Figure out which is the preferred / more common spelling and make sure all references throughout Hyperglot use the same one.
