Currently the custom manager can only extract dependencies from one file at a time. Does your requirement need it to fetch from more than one and combine the results into a single dependency? |

Hi there, Get your discussion fixed faster by creating a minimal reproduction. This means a repository dedicated to reproducing this issue with the minimal dependencies and config possible. Before we start working on your issue we need to know exactly what's causing the current behavior. A minimal reproduction helps us with this. Discussions without reproductions are less likely to be converted to Issues. Please follow these steps:

Hi there, This is intended as a polite, automated request that users avoid We know it might be common elsewhere but we participate in hundreds of discussions a week and would need to turn off GitHub mobile notifications if we were mentioned in every one. As a general rule, we will read and respond to all discussions in this repository, so there is no need to mention us. Thanks, the Renovate team |

Hi everyone,
I'm working on a project where the configuration setup is a bit unusual. Each Helm chart in my project has its own environment file that specifies dependency versions. I'm currently managing the New Relic Helm chart, which includes several dependencies.
One specific issue I'm facing is with the "k8s-events-forwarder" image, which is a dependency from the
nri-kube-events
chart. When configuring theregexManagers
to obtain the Docker image version, it pulls the latest version, rather than the specific version indicated in the values file. How can I configure the
regexManagers
to ensure it correctly identifies and uses the dependency version from another Helm chart's values? Here's the link. Thanks for your help!
