I couldn't reproduce it with your repository and Hugo(both $ git submodule update --init
$ hugo mod npm pack
$ npm i
$ throw.nullreference.io git:(main) hugo-97 server --buildDrafts --watch --port=9081 --disableFastRender

After upgrading to v0.80.3, I can't seem to preview the site anymore.

The HTML loads fine, but all bundled artifacts are hanging:
Running via:
After the upgrade via sub modules, i ran
hugo mod npm pack
Should also note, the production build runs fine and serves fine. So, I suspect it is something to do with development mode.
