Mappings seem to be gone in a buffer opened by navigator

Hi, this is what's happening:

1. I go over a "symbol"
2. I press <leader>gr to open the reference/context window.
3. Press <C-v> to open the preview window in a split
4. I go over another "symbol"
5. The <leader>gr is no longer working in the new buffer

I'm using which-key, and it shows the options for the first buffer when I press <leader> in the first window, but they don't appear in the second window.

I used "window" and "buffer" interchangeably
