Here's an idea - how about a sample configuration file that emulates the tmux keybindings?

Are the tmux bindings at all similar to either vim or emacs bindings? Perhaps one of those configs is adaptable? (Sorry, not a tmux user myself, I'm still stuck in the screen age ;-)
