Consider implementing a mechanism in PyKale to display appropriate error messages to end-users when incorrect input parameters are provided by end-users.
Motivation
To improve user experience, we can address the issue of complex error traces during example execution by implementing input parameter validation in the main.py file of each example. This will provide clearer and more helpful error messages to end-users.
Pitch
The provided code shows as an illustrative example for implementing a method that performs parameter validation:
defvalidate_input_param(cfg: CfgNode):
# Check the validity of all input parameters for their correctnessifnot (0<cfg.MODEL.LR<1):
raiseValueError("Error: Learning rate should be between 0 and 1.")
