I recently tried using the smart tv as my secondary monitor! I have issues with the brightness control as only the primary screen/monitor is being controlled!

I am not sure how to decrease or increase the brightness of the secondary monitor! Iam connected by hdmi! i tried decreasing the brightness manually but it didnt!

I tried "brightness-controller-git", "xrandr --output HDMI-A-1 --brightness 0.20" didn't work either!

I am not sure whether it is possible, let me know if anyone knows this. But it is possible for the home screen tho! Where I can turn the backlight to minimum but not through HDMI!

TV: Xiaomi x-series
