Extremely slow

Made candle work on raspberry pi 4 with 32 bit Raspbian
but the manual movement as well as the steps taken are too slow.

This means the mill is waiting for every step about 1 complete second.

Sending commands to the CNC3018PRO can be ultra fast so there must be a unnecessary delay in the software.

Hi,
I don't understand why this is happening. On my raspi4 the speed is identical to running on a PC, very responsive when you push any button and fast updates of the 3D view. It's really much, much slower on a raspi3 but the raspi4 should be fantastic. I'm not sure what to suggest. I don't know the 3018 range but I assume it has a built-in arduino running grbl? You should check what version.
