add possibility to edit the json file

It might happen that things do not go the way we want and, therefore, we are forced to manually edit the json file.
Exporting the data to plain-text is really a bad solution, so we should find a way to edit the data "on-the-fly" by, for example, opening a text editor with the "in-memory" data.
