The ability to share your inventory information with customers, vendors, employees, and third parties without giving them the chance to screw anything up, or see what you don't want them to see. Specify which items, or locations users can access. Control which (if any) kinds of transactions users can perform, and what methods they can use. Admins should be able to change passwords for users, add, and delete users.

Use case: Imidia Digital Technologies, Inc. Imidia logo
With its main headquarters in Miami and distributors located in Canada, Mexico, Latin America, and Asia, Imidia needs to be able to monitor its warehouse inventory levels, and provide its partners the ability to check stock quanties and place stock requisitions. Also, with staff spread globally, a universal admin role is counterproductive, and could be catastrophic for the new/untrained hiree. Therefore user level roles, as opposed to location role (as is currently implemented) would-be a more viable solution.
