Creating a PubSub server with a nodeset

I've been using SiOME (Siemens Modeler) to create nodesets because it simplifies the configuration of PubSub, making it more straightforward than with other modelers. I've set up the connection, the DataSet, the PublishDataSet, the Writer, and the Writer group. However, after running it through the compiler and loading it, the normal MQTT connection, writer group operational,etc. messages, never appear, even though the PublishSubscribe node is configured in the nodeset. So, my question is, is it even possible to create an MQTT PubSub server with just a nodeset by using the nodeset compiler and loading it?
