Steps i did

  1. course > manage course
  2. update exam

In my case there were no questions.

Seems like the exam maybe hadn't replicated yet, or there was an error in replication.

@lmmrssa It will take some work, but we should consider not showing courses which do not have supporting docs fully replicated

From conversation in meeting: we should test to make sure other functionality works, and if it does just notify the user here that the exam is missing (or in the background insert the attached exam into the exams database).

@Yuviii Exam should exist in course.steps[index].exam so try adding that to the exams database first.
