[Feature Request]: Tables in markdown

Is there a way to work with markdown tables instead of the Fragment tables?
I need to create automatic tables, and the only way I found is using markdown. The problem is that markdown tables with these theme lack style flexibility and I can't add css in line for table borders, text alignments, width, etc.
