bug: audio drops out of voip programs when nvda is restarted.

Steps to reproduce:

1. launch discord or skype or any voip programsuch as soom
2. restart nvda with add ons disabled. This works with add ons enabled as well.

Actual behavior:

audio drops out. Ican be heard but I cannot hear who is talkinig. I have to reenter the channel or relaunch the app in order to get audio back.

Expected behavior:

I should not have to lose audio when I restart nvda. I have toher comptuer sounds play just my voip tends to get lost.

NVDA logs, crash dumps and other attachments:

The nvda log and nvda old log are both in this folder. I don't see a crash dump file as it appears nvda did not crash.

Does the issue still occur after restarting your computer?

Yes

Have you tried any other versions of NVDA? If so, please report their behaviors.

This has been going on since about april before I switched to 2024.x

If NVDA add-ons are disabled, is your problem still occurring?

yes

Does the issue still occur after you run the COM Registration Fixing Tool in NVDA's tools menu?

yes it also happens after a reboot of my computer and it also apparently happened even after a repair of windows.

Just to clarify: does that line mean that you hear other computer sounds, even when the VOIP has been lost? I assume you mean Windows error sounds and the like? Do those come through the same audio device as the VOIP programs use?

Also, please rename your log files as .txt files, and attach them individually. The zip file was apparently created with something that neither Windows nor Linux can decompress.
