[BUG] Mirth 4.3.0 linux installer more confusing than old one, inadequate prompts. #5742

  • Installer points to documentation for 4.2.0. not 4.3. Note screenshot
  • Installer now shows links for documentation in preceding bullet with no instructions on what do after the link is prompted. Note screenshot. Perhaps "Press something to continue".

  • Installer prompts to browse for zip files for extensions, how? What is the syntax desired here? A path to all extensions?

Installer still does not prompt to install and run service as a named user. IMHO, this should be a priority.

I'd add that it would be more helpful to at least list Nextgen extensions and allow a selection and download those- like exists early in the installer for choosing server / admin tool / etc.

@pacmano1 Just to clarify, are you trying to install using the 4.3.0 RPM file?

No, using the .sh installer.
