Hi All, I'm new to Mirth, so please bear with me if I'm asking a silly question. I'm trying to send a PATCH request to a server, but get the following error:
When I tried with POST and I get a 405 Method Not Allowed. I tried restarting the admin with Java17, but that throws other errors when right clicking the messages in order to repost. (There are other errors as well, but this is a showstopper right now) I'm working on a MacBook |

You're going to have to share quite a bit more information. What is the endpoint you're calling? What is the documentation say about the endpoint? Your local workstation is usually irrelevant. Please read https://forums.mirthproject.io/articles/177082-forum-etiquette. While GitHub is not the forums, that article has points that are relevant about how to ask for help. |

Thank you so much for your reply and the pointer to the etiquette. I'll try to expand. You're also correct about it not being an issue with the Java version on my local machine. OS: Ubuntu 22.04 As part of our integration, we need to post to Salesforce's Bulk API 2.0, as documented here: It is a multistep process, and one of the steps requires a patch call.
Method One Code:
Method One Error:
Method Two Code:
Method Two Response: (I don't have the full output, but from the log info) Response Code 405, Method not allowed. Please advise! |

HttpURLConnection
doesn't support thePATCH
method, see. You'll need to use the Apache HttpComponents client or another HTTP client library to makePATCH
calls.
