Show checked options even when filtering

When typing to filter the categories, it would be nice to always show any that have already been checked, in addition to what's being filtered. You currently don't see your checked options again until you clear the filter field. Although, I could see that being an issue if you have a lot of options checked since you wouldn't see what's being filtered until after the checked options.

Maybe a nice touch would be to put an "X" in the field when you're filtering so you could quickly filter it. The "X" would be a nice affordance to declare that you're done filtering. That may work instead of displaying the checked options while filtering.
