Flashlight is not working with Mac OS 10.10.3 #421
Comments
I installed flashlight after the update. But it is not working for me as well. I tried to re-install it. But no change. |
I've also tried to remove it entirely but i didn't got any different result! :/ |
I installed flashlight after update mac OS X 10.10.3,but it is not work.i tried to re-install ,but it aways exit unexpected |
I took a look into the logs: Afterwards I repaired my disk permissions but still got the same warnings. |
So what do we do |
Could you have a look into you console app and check out if you have the same problems.
As soon as I have some time on hand I'll change the user rights on the folders specified in the log. But that is merely a work around. But I'm not a developer and thus cannot provide a fix. |
I found another interesting entry in the event log: |
I have the same problem, let me know if there is any way I can help. |
|
Same not working here. This is what I got in the console (I hope it helps): 05.05.15 20:09:04,635 Spotlight[8859]: Hello from Flashlight! (/Applications/Flashlight.app/Contents/Library/LoginItems/FlashlightSIMBLAgent.app/Contents/Resources/SIMBLPlugins/SpotlightSIMBL.bundle) |
|
Errors triggered while Flashlight is being enabled:
|
I have the same problem |
Flashlight crash while installing the plugin like sublimetext. |
The same issue just started for me today upon installing the latest 10.10.4 beta. |
Just for completeness.... This is supposedly because of norio-nomura/EasySIMBL#25 as stated in #494 |
This is what I've got. |
10.10.3 and that's what I get (I've installed it for first time on this version):
|
For the moment it works here after a reboot needed. |
Having same issue on 10.10.4. Console log:
|
10.10.4... installed Flashlight early on and it worked! I ended up deleting the original account on the machine and creating a new one. There were probably also some updates that ran in that 'new machine setup' cycle. Now I've tried disabling/uninstalling/rebooting/reinstalling Flashlight a bunch of time w/out much luck. Getting the following in the log when I try to install (after disabling and uninstalling):
|
Not working here either. Tried disable-enabling, uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting the system. Everything appears fine but none of the commands works. |
Same here. Just noticed it stopped working for no reason. |
Same problem (OS X 10.10.4) |
Same problem here too ... OS X 10.10.4 |
On |
closed due to https://gist.github.com/selaromi/59666a71387d39b5bfac and #537 |
I had already Flashlight installed before upgrading Mac OS X into
10.10.3
.After upgrade, Flashlight seems to configure just fine as it was but I don't have access to any kind of commands provided by Flashlight. Also tried to upgrade it into latest version but it didn't solved.
Any hint?
