Your idea

I think everyone knows what double-stops are. Currently, it is partially possible to achieve their designation in MuseScore Studio using a bracket meaning "non-arpeggio". I suggest introducing a special option in some palette (or in the toolbar, which in my opinion is more appropriate) that allows you to combine the corresponding notes with a bracket during double-stops.

Problem to be solved

As I noted above, it is possible to achieve the designation of double-stops in terms of engraving, but only partially. Firstly, because the bracket "non-arpeggio", presented in the palette "Arpeggios and glissandos", is not intended to indicate double-stops, and if, for example, I want to separate voices from one staff into two (because of divisi), then the notes of the double-stop, respectively, will also break into two staffs.
Secondly, there may be several divisi lines on one staff, and these several lines may have simultaneous double-stops. In the event that some notes of simultaneous double-stops coincide on the staff (or are less than half a space apart from each other), the currently existing "non-arpeggio" brackets will intersect.

For such cases, the noteheads should be separated (with stems, respectively), and double-stop brackets should be placed on different sides (maybe, of course, there is a newer and more correct way, but if there is, then I don't know yet):

Additional context

When I talk about double-stops, I also mean triple-stops, quadruple-stops, etc. In the score, it is also important to separate them from each other in order to distinguish them from divisi.

I'd like to think ultimately this informed the playback engine too - two notes played on the same instrument will always sound quite different to ones played on different instruments. Curiously this already seems to be true for Muse Brass, unexpectedly - chords are played differently from the same notes but using different staves/voices, one per note.

I forgot to mention one more important thing.
Since MuseScore Studio currently does not understand "double-stops", there are two (or more) in the string section non divisi notes with a tremolo through the stem will be played as a tremolo between the notes. This is wrong. The tremolo should sound on all notes at the same time, as if it were a single note.
Please note that with the use of the staff text tremolo, the playback is correct.

This was also reported in #20329 and #23217.
