Be able to define in the stylesheet or by instrument the default stems directions.
Today those stems are by default ↑↓↑↓.
The request is to be able to edit this default, so that every time a note is entered on a voice, it gets automatically the desired stem direction.
Problem to be solved
In multi-voices parts, the current default voices stem direction might not be efficient.
If the voices are organised from high to low (the voice 1 being the highest, then 2, then 3 and the voice 4 being the lowest), the default stem directions don't show-up nicely :
And one could prefer another organisation:
As of today, this is achievable, but manually. Note by note, or by selecting every now and then, every note of a voice, voice by voice, and giving them the right stem direction.
The idea is to let the user define what the default is preferable for his piece.
