The input syntax for the Model Compiler is XML that conforms to the schema defined in UA Model Design.xsd. This schema defines a syntax that can be used to design an information model of the underlying process. Selected syntax rules are compliant with the spec and may be recognized as self-explanatory. The semantic definition is missing and must be derived from the compiler output in case of doubts.

The Model Design DSL supports the manual edition and the possibility to exchange models between designers.

The detailed language definition is required to improve supporting tools interoperability normalization.

Goal

The main goal of this project is a document describing the semantic of this language. The document will be published on the ResearchGate and unique DOI will be associated.

Scope

[ ] select the document type (consider markdown)
[ ] prepare a template
[ ] review the existing documents to be inspired
[ ] prepare a semantic description of the constructs based on the inspiration
[ ] prepare a semantic description base on the spec
[ ] consider adding the description to the schema document
[ ] publish the document
[ ] disseminate the information about the document
