registerKeyMappings() function in language header

can do things like insert unicode

function insertStringInEditor(str)
{
    var doc = editorLivecode.getDoc();
    var cursor = doc.getCursor();

    var pos = {
        line: cursor.line,
        ch: cursor.ch
    }

    doc.replaceRange(str, pos);
}
