I have added rig relatives to the xmp metadata by following https://support.micasense.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006368574-Modifying-older-collections-for-Pix4Dfields-support?mobile_site=false
and using rig relative values provided by Stephen Mangum
The correct rig relatives are now in the xmp metadata:
$ exiv2 -pa IMG_0008_1.tif > IMG_0008_1_exiv2out.txt
IMG_0008_1_exiv2out.txt
Unfortunately, when I run Alignment-RigRelatives.ipynb with the modified images I still get:
Error: Library requires images taken with RedEdge-(3/M/MX) camera firmware v2.1.0 or later. Upgrade your camera firmware to at least version 2.1.0 to use this library with RedEdge-(3/M/MX) cameras.
What can be done? Is it just a matter of modifying the tag "Exif.Image.Software" ?
(note I do not have the camera to upgrade the software, this is why the rig relative values had to be provided by Stephan Mangum and Gabriel Medina).
