Megasync 5.2.1 crashes after a few seconds on MacOS

I was using version 4+ until today, when I realized there was a new version on the website. But now the app crashes after just a few seconds and seems unable to stay open.

I don't know if this is related, but the app found 6000+ sync errors after updating, mostly duplicates. Telling it to remove the duplicates did nothing, so I copied all my files locally, removed them from Megasync and, once the sync errors where gone, put them back in.

Same issue here for very long time now. The latest version is not working too. I am on 14.5

I fixed my issue by reinstalling the app and redownloading all my files. I also had to delete from Mega a few files that would not sync, no matter what. It was a hassle and took a while, but I don't have the problem anymore.

Reinstalling didn't help and redownloading can't really be done since there is bunch of changes that have not been uploaded which I may lose. Not to mention the quantity of data. Total crap of an app 🤡
