mastodon/mastodon#25555 (comment) notes that there is a hard limit of 5 pinned statuses.

This is not documented.

In addition, there's no documentation as to what happens if the user tries to pin more than 5 statuses:

Does the new pin override one of the existing pins? If so, which one
Is an error returned to the client? If so, which error
