This format looks quite different from ours. I'm thinking that if we want to support it, we could do so via dedicated methods |
Good point. It's too early to tell if it will catch on so it's probably better to wait and see what tools use it that we may want to interoperate with. |

This new RFC describes a JSON format for dns packets. This issue is a placeholder to look at the differences between what we're doing and the RFC to determine if we want to make any adjustments.
