lvremove --select=lv_device_open=0 DOES NOT WORK. Just does nothing. lvs with the same filter works as expected.

(I've changed the title of this issue to avoid confusion as we use "filter" keyword for something else in lvm2 - the "filters" setting in lvm.conf and around.)
