 * Xviewer version (xviewer --2.02)
* Cinnamon version (cinnamon --4.09)
 * Distribution - (Mint 19.1)
 * Graphics hardware NVIDIA Corporation GK106 [GeForce GTX 660] driver used nvidia-driver-390
 *  64 bit

Issue

Rotating several images then using "save" when leaving xviewer session does not save rotations

Steps to reproduce

When viewing a series of images in xviewer, rotate some images

At the end of the viewing session, close viewer.

Message says there are images with unsaved changes. Save changes before closing? The images are all pre-ticked

Click save

Images are NOT saved in new rotated format but revert to original orientation.

Expected behaviour

All rotated images will be saved in rotated format

Other information

If you open an individual image, rotate it, then File/Save, the rotation is saved

same behaviour here:

* Xviewer version (xviewer 2.02)
* Cinnamon version (cinnamon 4.010)
* Distribution - (Mint 19.1)
* Graphics hardware: Intel Corporation UHD Graphics 620
*  64 bit

This is a really annoying bug!

Hi Nopeppermint

Given there are open issues dating back to 2016, I do think this package is being maintained any more, sadly..

Can't reproduce this in xviewer 3.2.1.

This should have been fixed by PR #169 and could, therefore, be closed.
