Debian 12 hypnotix error build deb and run

Hi I installed debian 12 with DE Cinnamon I tried to compile hypnotix but it doesn't want to start on debian 12 I followed this "guide" #19, did I do something wrong or do you not support debian? I plan to upgrade to the mint debian edition as soon as debian 12 is available.

We do support Debian (or any other distribution).

I'm not sure why it doesn't build for you though, can you give more info?

I managed to compile it by changing the version of some dependencies, but once installed it gives me an error on line 30 because it can't find the python imb package or something like that. you could try a live version of debian 12 to see what's wrong.
